He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Waggoner and Walter Waggoner. He is survived by: his wife Clara T. Waggoner; his children, Tressa Ann Stallings (James Stallings) of Wake Forest, NC, Alissa Marie Kellum (Tony Kellum) of Jacksonville, NC, William C Waggoner Jr. (Donna Waggoner) of Jacksonville, NC and John L. Waggoner of Jacksonville; and his grandchildren, Kristina Stallings, Mason Kellum and Shawna Waggoner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jones Funeral Home of Jacksonville Friday (303 Chaney Ave, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (110 Montford Landing Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
