It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Ray Justice of Jacksonville, North Carolina, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Justice and Millie Justice; his wife Benita Splawn Justice; his son Johnny Ray; and his siblings, Leon, Cyrus, Roy, Jr., Ella, Frances, Thelma, Grace, Minnie and Faye.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Justice-Rooks, Tony Rooks of Jacksonville, Charles, Sharon Justice of Greenville, Carolyn Justice-Hinson and Paul Hinson of Fayetteville; his grandchildren, Brent Justice, Stacy, Caroline Rooks, Becky Rooks, Nick Hinson, Andi, Jason Workman, Ivy Hinson and Dylan Justice; and his great grandchildren, Will, Charlie, Gray Rooks, Aidan Justice and Calvin Workman. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.
