Donald E. Blake Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2025, at the age of 88, Donald E. Blake of Jamestown, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Winston Blake and Ruth Self Blake; his wife Elizabeth Owen Blake; and his daughter Susan Blake Dewar. He is survived by: his son Allen Blake (Cindy); his grandchildren, Madeline, Margaret, Johnny, Michael, Brittany and Winston; his brothers, Robert Wayne Blake (Kathy) and Ben Winston Blake (Scott); and his close friend Jo Ann Maupin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Adamsburg Cemetery Maintenance Fund, c/o Ron Ogle, 2912 Wallace Ave. NE, Fort Payne, AL 35967, in Don's memory.
