He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Joseph Pridgen and Myrtle Estelle Stallings Pridgen; his wife Mary Catherine "Doll" Sadlowski Pridgen; and his brothers, Al Joseph Pridgen and Robert Elwood Pridgen.

He is survived by: his brother James Warren Pridgen; his children, Edward Brent Pridgen (Kelly) and Renee Pridgen Grubbs (Ephraim); his grandchildren, Kendall, Brenner Pridgen, Lieph, Adam, Eli and Noah Grubbs; and his great grandchild Kennedy Grubbs.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jamestown United Methodist Church (403 E Main St, Jamestown, NC 27282).
