He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend David Neese and Mildred Neese; and his daughter Amanda Leigh Neese. He is survived by: his wife Robin Slate Neese; his son Ross Neese (Tonya) of Sophia; his grandchildren, Caitlyn Bunn (Jared), Madison Stratton, Hunter Stratton, Austyn Koronkiewicz (Chris), Ashlyn Dozier and Trey Chaudoir; his great grandchild Ivan Aguilar; his mother-in-law Elizabeth Slate; and his brother-in-law Gary Slate (Candy). He is also survived by cousins and special friends.
