She was predeceased by: her parents, Elma Gilliland Ray and Johnnie Milton Ray. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Saxon; her sons, Mike Saxon (Amy Dillon), Rusty Saxon (Carla) and Jason Saxon (Susan); her sister Jean Pody of Weogufka; and her grandchildren, Madelene Saxon, Gabe Saxon, Megan Saxon and Tyler Saxon.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that donations be made to Hospice of the Piedmont.
