"Chip" Ward, Jr.; her children, Kyrin Hellinger (Tim) of Holly Springs, NC and Taylor Ward (Laura) of Alpharetta, GA; her grandchildren, Thomas Ward Hellinger, Emily Christine Ward, Jackson Neil Hellinger and Audrey Susanne Ward; her mother Dene Allen of Thomasville; her sisters, Sherri Allen of Jamestown and Lori Neese (Mark) of Jamestown; her nephew Peyton Neese of Hickory; her siblings-in-law, Lauren Smith (Mike) of Charlotte and Brad Ward (Audrey) of Grapevine, Texas; her nephew Hunter Smith of Charlotte; and her nieces, Sherydan Smith of Charlotte and Jessica Ward-Coffman (George) of Flower Mound, Texas. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the GBM Foundation, American Cancer Society, or AuthoraCare Collective of Greensboro.
