He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Hayes and Coke Hayes; and his great grandchild Kamden Barr. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie R. Hayes; his children, Michelle Vick, Dean Hayes (Renee), Damon Hayes (Meredith) and Brandon Hayes (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Brian Barr, Justin Barr, Dustin Barr, Devon Hayes, Drew Hayes, Ella Hayes and Abby Hayes; and his great grandchildren, Payton Barr, Braydon Barr, Elliot Barr and Elsie Barr.

Contributions may be made to Poplar Chapel Church of Christ Building Fund or Jamesville EMS/Rescue.
