She is survived by: her son James E. "Junior" Chesson of Plymouth, N. C.; her sister Brenda Roper of Washington, N. C.; her grandchildren, James V. Hardison, Jr., Derrick T. Chesson (Hannah) and Whitney E. Chesson; and her great grandchildren, Wyatt Chesson and Kelsey Chesson.
