She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Oscar and Lucretia Black Gilley; and her siblings, Blanche Surber, Edward Blevins, Ernest, Conley, Elmer, Lillard, Gordon, Fred, Dean and Earl Gilley.
She is survived by: her siblings, Irene Eldreth of Warrensville and Edison Gilley of Lansing; her sisters-in-law, Betty Blevins of West Grove, PA and June Gilley of South Port, NC; and her caregivers, Cathy Dowell, Sandra Blevins and Debbie Trainor. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel (3470 U. S. Hwy 221 N, Jefferson, NC 28640). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
