He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Sawyer and Sybile Hart Bare; his sisters, Wanda and Rosie Bare; and his father-in-law Charlie Miller.
He is survived by: his spouse Nedia Bare; his children, Marty Bare (Ivory) of Jefferson, Tammy Miller, Scott Perry of Millers Creek, Joey Bare (Billy) of West Jefferson, Chad Shumate (Angie) of Independence, Virginia, Cassandra Mouallem (Pierre) of High Point and Cody Bare (Kelsey) of Crumpler; and his mother-in-law Julie Miller of Lansing. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; three brothers; and one sister.
