She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Oscar and Carrie Ann Moretz Trivette; her sisters, Ina Bare, Lavonne Greene and Shirley Roop; her daughter Karen Kay Cummings; and her grandsons, Michael Eldreth and Joshua Dillard.
She is survived by: her husband Clifton; her children, Walter Dillard (Karen), Robert Dillard (Lena), Randal Dillard (Susie), Wanda Dillard of Jefferson and Sandra Dillard of Jefferson; and her brothers, Gwynn Trivette of West Jefferson, James Trivette of Fleetwood and Wayne Trivette of Lenoir. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Orion Baptist Church (477 Frank Dillard Rd, Jefferson, NC 28640). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
