She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Luther Testerman and Vertie Testerman; her husband Howard Brooks; and her siblings, Ray, Sam, Robert Testerman, Mildred Thomas, Ruth Eldreth, Ruby Eldreth, Virginia Weaver, Lydia Testerman, Stella Stanley and Ethel Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Dean Brooks (Darlene) of Warrensville, Johnny Brooks (Donna) of West Jefferson, Joyce Neaves (David Wayne) of Hickory, Judy Roland of Florence, June Neaves (Randy) of Crumpler, Jennifer Richardson (Greg) of Lansing and Jonie Lewis (Rex) of Warrensville; her brother Ralph Testerman of Warrensville; and her grandchildren, Sarah, Charlsie, Shawn, Jamie, Kevin, Amy, Nathan, Natalie, Mariah, Stephanie, Kendall, Devyn, Eden and Ashton. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, eighteen great-great-granchildren, eight step-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
