With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ella Mae Parker Pennington Lewis of Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on March 20, 2026 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milard Fillmore and Ada Parker; her former husband Bartie Ernest Pennington; her husband Robert Nelson Lewis; and her siblings, Ben, Joe, Hugh, Russ, Lester, Tom Parker, Danford Barrett and Nina Faye Huss.
She is survived by: her daughter Terri Shatley (Teddy) of Jefferson; her grandson Logan Garfield Shatley; and her brother Tivis Parker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
