We bid farewell to Irene Robinson Walker (Jefferson, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 16, 2026 at the age of 97. Irene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Claude and Chessie Elliott Hartsoe; her husband Howard Walker; and her siblings, Miles Hartsoe, Claude Hartsoe and Helen Graybeal.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Reeves (John), Susan Hoosier (Jimmy) and Chris Robinson (Yolanda); and her grandchildren, Scott Hoosier, Kim Hoosier (Mark Melton), Cati Robinson (Jonathan Waddell), Michelle Raymond (Jackson), Ben Reeves, Kevin Reeves (Martha Jane) and Lillian Reeves (Carter Davis).
