With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mae Houck of Jefferson, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Mash and Estell Eller Mash; her husband Johnie Houck; her children, Joyce Patrick and Johnie David Houck; her grandson Kennedy Patrick; and her siblings, Mary Chatham, Muriel Greer, Jean Sturgill, Madge Hudler, Kyle Mash and Clate Mash.
She is survived by: her son Kevin Houck (Sara) of Jefferson; her brother Ken Mash (Carolyn) of Jefferson; her grandchildren, Teneice Houck (Amanda) of Shallotte, Carissa Sheets (Trey) of West Jefferson and James Patrick (Penny) of Albemarle; and her great grandchildren, Mickenzie Day (Zeb Duvall), Aubrey Day, Abby Sheets, Trent Sheets, Trace Sheets, Maverick Moss, Jay Patrick (Shelby), Tyler Patrick and Shelby Patrick. She is also survived by two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
