She was predeceased by: her mother Lillie Darnell; and her siblings, Clifford Darnell, Wincie Darnell and Wancie Darnell Calloway. She is survived by: her sons, Dean Darnell (Ashely) of Jefferson and John Darnell (Lisa) of Wilkesboro; her close friend Carolyn Steelman; and her grandchildren, Heather, Tiffany and Nicki. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; five nieces and one nephew.
