She was predeceased by: her parents, Fieldon Hurley and Flossie Farmer Hurley; and her siblings, Hazel Ham, Doris Woods, Norie Ham, Ted Hurley, Howard Hurley and Chester Hurley.

She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Kimpel of Jefferson and Gilbert Kimpel of Northeast, MD; her sisters, Reba Holt (Bob) of Jefferson and Effie Dickens of Elkton, MD; and her grandchildren, Tyler, Kaitlyn Kimpel and Brittany Jordan. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
