He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Fletcher Brown and Beulah Gardner Brown; his brothers, Fletcher "Doots", Parks, Willie and Spencer; and his brothers-in-law, Charles McMahan, James Allison and Ronnie Pinnix.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn Swaim Brown; his siblings, Edd Brown (Carol), Bertha McMahan, Nellie Wall (Bob), Bobbie Hudspeth (Wayne), Mary Allison, Della Pinnix, George Brown (Vickie) and Joseph Brown; his brother-in-law Dean Swaim; his nephews, Hank Swaim (Tracy) and Daniel Swaim (Emily); and his close friends, Jason Walker, Shane Walker, Caleb Poplin, Benny Wilkins and Phil Martin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
