She was predeceased by: her husband Sammy G. Sloop; her adoptive mother Juanita Pinnix; her stepfather Al Pinnix; and her brothers, Warren Shores, Stephen Shores, Billy Shores, Clyde Shores and Chris Shores.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy Darnell of Elkin, NC, Lisa Alexander (Tim) of Yadkinville, NC and Gwen Smith (Robert) of Ronda, NC.; and her grandchildren, Skylor Darnell and Rianna Darnell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice or your favorite charity.
