He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Sparks Smith; his parents, James Ross Smith Jr. and Gaynelle Holder Smith; his children, Miranda Motsinger (Steven), Candice Reynolds, Stephanie McLaughlin (Grayling) and Steven Amick Jr.; and his siblings, Angela Peeler (Mike) and Jeffery Smith. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home (212 W Swannanoa Ave, Liberty, NC 27298).
