Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gordon Easter, Sr. and Ollie Brandon Easter. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Blackard Easter; his children, Carson Easter Lineberry (Daniel) of Julian and Michael Dalton Easter of Liberty; his siblings, Julie Easter of Lexington, Lisa Simmerson (Randy) of Tyro, NC and James Gordon Easter, Jr. of Churchland, NC; and his grandson Lucas Michael Lineberry of Julian.
