It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ola Bowman of Julian, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on July 30, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dwight G. Bowman; and her siblings, Rufus Lee Weathers, Pantha W. Park, Marceline W. Wood, Thomas Weathers, Elbridge Weathers and Bynum Weathers.
She is survived by: her sons, Chris Bowman (Jayne) and David Bowman (Terry); her grandchildren, Ryan Bowman (Mary), Paige Garland (Brad), Ruffin Bowman (Genny) and Neil Bowman (Erica); and her caregivers, Diane Harrelson, Cindy Rowell, Theresa Gayten, Glenda Hensley and Therese Denton. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
