We announce the death of Andrew Carter Harris of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on October 27, 2026, at the age of 68. Andrew will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carter Harris and Thelma Herrin Harris; and his siblings, Suzanne H. Justice, Jann Harris and Stan Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Chisholm Harris; his daughter Ashley H. Wilhelm (Tyler) of Rockwell; his grandchildren, Oaklynn, Harper and Lainey Wilhelm; his sister Amy Harris (Jon Decker) of Kannapolis; his brother-in-law Gary Justice; and his nephew Chad Wade.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (416 Martin Luther King Jr Ave, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or Tucker Hospice House.
