She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherwood Thomas Martin and Kathleen Scoggins Martin; and her husband James Brotherton. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Koehn (Ted) of Hawthorne, FL and Pamela Boatwright of Kannapolis; and her grandsons, Brandon Lipe of China Grove, Jonathan of Kannapolis, Richard Galloway of Kannapolis and Christopher Galloway of Fayetteville. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
