He is survived by: his sons, Scott Gentle (Anita) and Keith Gentle (Greta); his daughter-in-law Amy Gentle; his grandchildren, David, Meredith, Matthew, Griffin and Meggie; his great grandchildren, Malachi, Mobius, Marlena, Lilly, Briggs, Ethan, Austin and Sadie; and his great great grandchild Selena.
A graveside service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Carolina Memorial Park (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Kannapolis, NC 28083).
