We bid farewell to Barry Lynn Lentz (Kannapolis, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 21, 2025 at the age of 65. Barry Lynn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl B. Lentz Sr. and Betty-Ruth Helms Lentz of Kannapolis; and his daughter Elizabeth. He is survived by: his wife Ute; his brother Earl B. Lentz Jr. (Lisa); his children, Sigrun Kraehe, Emily Sparnell, Jessica Waters (Andy) and Coy Sparnell; and his nieces, Carmen Lentz Smith and Taylor Austin Wetter. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Whitley's Funeral Home (1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church (301 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calendar Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church (301 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025).
