She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Rucker and Mary Louise Geter Rucker; and her husband James David Dry. She is survived by: her children, Deidra Drye, Alicia Rivens (Richard) of Davidson, NC and Darion Carlos Drye (Alethea) of Kannapolis, NC; and her brother Luther Robinson (Loretta) of Kannapolis, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (2474 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
