She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Thomas; her parents, Bernice Gassaway and Florence Gassaway; and her son-in-law Jerry Bradley. She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Bradley; her brother Earl Richard Gassaway; her stepsons, Doug Thomas (Martha), Philip Thomas (Jolette) and Bennit Thomas (Kim); and her stepgrandson Scott Bradley (Kim Bradley).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Whitley's Funeral Home (1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (471 Church St N, Concord, NC 28025).
