She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Grady Sheeks and Sadie Pauline Pethel; her husband James; her brothers, Dr. Bill F Sheeks and Larry D Sheeks (Butch); her siblings-in-law, Earl Godfrey, Melvin Cook and Frances Godfrey; and her niece Jackie Sheeks.

She is survived by: her children, Pamela Varner Wagoner (Barry), James Richard (Rick) and Varner (Susan); her granddaughters, Kayla Melton Gonzalaz and Savannah Faith Varner York (Tyler); her great grandchild Caden Gonzalaz; her brother Tony Sheeks; her sisters-in-law, Eleanor Sheeks, Billie Sheeks, Brenda Overcash and Eunice Cook; and her nieces and nephews, Debra Penninger (Ed), Joey Cook (Cindy), Jolene Crayton (Brian), Cheryl Sheeks Bugg (Perry), Randy Sheeks (Debbie), Cindy Plott, Tonya Sheeks Eury (Tony Jr) and Todd Sheeks. She is also survived by 20 great nieces & nephews.
