He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Franklin Hudson and Zelma Goznell Hudson; and his siblings, Harold Eugene Hudson, James Milton Hudson, Rufus Hudson Jr., Hoyle Hudson, Doyle Hudson, Charles Edward Hudson, Danny Wayne Hudson and Colleen Hudson Gareau.

He is survived by: his sisters, Peggy Hudson Sams of Rockwell, NC and Carol Sue Hudson Buffalino of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in the form of toys to Carolina Cremation for Operation Toy Soldier.
