She is survived by: her mother Lillie Mae Redford Douglas of Kannapolis, NC; her husband Alan Anderson; her children, Vernon Thompson, Marcus Thompson and La'Nita Saddler (Donovan) of Concord, NC; and her brothers, Vernon Thompson (Beatrice) of Virginia Beach, VA, Keith Thompson of Virginia Beach, VA and Dr. Ernest Goodson Jr. (Patricia) of Fayetteville, NC. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
