She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carter and Mary Ruth Adams Carter; her siblings, Sylvia Love and Larry Carter; her daughter Tamara Archie; and her granddaughter Gabrielle Simmons.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Ralph Ross; her daughter Cynthia Simmons (Eric) of Kannapolis; her son-in-law Timothy Archie; her grandchildren, Brandon, Marissa, Alex and Nick; her great grandchild Jaiden; and her sibling's children, Kathy, Julie, Lisa and Michael.
