It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene Stirewalt of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Cook and Viola Rodgers Cook; her husband Clyde Stirewalt; and her children, Connie Dean Stirewalt and Bobby Wayne Stirewalt Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Clyde Stirewalt Jr. (Becky) of California and Lisa Stirewalt (Jose) of Kannapolis; her grandchildren, Bobby Stirewalt (Tabby), David Carpenter, Michael Stirewalt (Kaitlyn), Leah Burns (Rob) and Tyler Stirewalt; and her siblings-in-law, Margie, Margaret, Linda, Barbara (Junior) and Jerry.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Whitley's Funeral Home (1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the West Lawn Memorial Park (1350 S Main St, China Grove, NC 28023).
