He is survived by: his wife Hazel Hendrix; his daughters, Shari Wilhite of China Grove, NC, Teresa Harrison of China Grove, NC, Sharlene Winecoff of Kannapolis, NC and Lynette Hendrix of Wilmington, NC; his siblings, Ray Hendrix of California and Glenda Jordan of China Grove, NC; and his stepchildren, Tim Allman, Eric Allman, Chris Allman and Angela Stanford. He is also survived by his caretaker until the end; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
