We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2024, at the age of 78, Clifford Gilbert Pethel of Kannapolis, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Pethel and Louise Albertson Pethel; and his brothers, Ronnie Pethel and Kelly Smith. He is survived by : his wife Shelby Humphries Pethel; his children, Jackie Pethel of Concord, Kelli Humphries of Kannapolis, Amber Pethel (Xavier) of Concord, Chris Pethel of China Grove and Steve Pethel (Tess) of China Grove; his grandchildren, Apryl Humphries, Kortnie Curl, Sir Watson, Sia Watson, Terrence Pethel and Ivey Pethel; and his great grandchildren, Malaya Archie, Kameron Bellamy, Ximena Elox, Margot Durham and Khambrel Buchanan.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Whitley's Funeral Home (1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083).
