He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Rowell and Helen Lockhart. He is survived by: his wife Diane Rowell; and his siblings, Jerry Rowell, Linda Broughton, Geraldine Wilson and Bill Rowell. He is also survived by many extended family and the numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkinson Funeral Home (100 Branchview Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:40 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the West Lawn Memorial Park (1350 S Main St, China Grove, NC 28023).
