He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Bowles and Trixie Campbell; and his wife Sandra "Joyce" Eddleman Bowles. He is survived by: his siblings, Betty, Mildred, Alberta, James, Ray and Lillian Bowles; his daughters, Donna Bowles Wigger of Charlotte, Sherry Bowles Smith (Bill) of Cornelius and Tonya Bowles Hess of Kannapolis; his grandchildren, Nathan Tuck, Joy Dry, Angela Tow, Wes Mott, Tristen and Tiffany Hess; and his great grandchildren, Madeline, Alana Burch, Emily Dry, Sandra, Alex Tuck, Jake Mott, Braylen Hess, Miyah Goodjohn and Karsynn Alexander.
