She was predeceased by: her parent Johnnie Sue Shaw Cruse; her former husband Joseph Eugene Moore, Sr.; and her brother Lewis Shaw, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Tonya Rucker (Bracero) of Concord, NC and Joseph Moore of Kannapolis, NC; her grandchildren, Justin L. Moore and Bracera A. Rucker (Ricardo); and her sibling's children, Debra Dorsey (Wilbur), Kevin Shaw (Wonda) and Lewis Shaw, Jr..

Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (6280 Pleasant Grove Church Rd, Kannapolis, NC 28081). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
