With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emma Louise Overcash Walter (Kannapolis, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 27, 2026 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Turner Overcash and Janie Overcash; her husband A. F. Walter Jr.; her son Derle Walter; her granddaughter Tanya London; and her siblings, Merle Overcash of Turner Overcash, W. D, Manual Overcash, Pearl Overcash and Francis Davis.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Linda Walter; her granddaughter Kathy Belk (Tony); her daughter Faye London (Reid); her granddaughter Tisha; her son Tony Walter; her grandchildren, Tammy, Anthony and Timothy; her great grandchild Alexia; her son Allie Walter (Tracy); and her siblings, Sarah Russ, Mary Ann Tino and Ralph Overcash. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
