It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eva Jan Starr of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Pressley Sechler, Jr. and Glennie Maybelle Hallman Sechler; and her husband Charles Emery Starr. She is survived by : her sons, Jacob Charles (Michael) and Matthew Garrett (Emily); and her brother Andy Sechler. She is also survived by parents, parents-in-law, and a husband.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Humane Society of Concord and Greater Cabarrus County, or an animal shelter of your choice.
