It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Polk Thompson (Kannapolis, North Carolina), who passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Blaine J Polk Sr. and Edna Black Polk. She is survived by: her husband Joe Harold Thompson; her children, Jody Thompson Wyatt (David) and Kale Thompson; her granddaughters, Jenna Thompson Brown (Rusty), Olivia Thompson and Sophia Thompson; her great grandchildren, Ellie and Josie Brown; and her brother Julian Polk (Connie).
Memorial donations may be made to Franklin Heights Baptist Church 2000 Lane Street Kannapolis.
