He is survived by: his children, Edward E. Maxwell (Kenza) of Concord, NC and Rachelle Walker (Davey) of Landis, NC; his stepchildren, Martin Drye of Kannapolis, NC, Shirley Kennedy of Salisbury, NC and Janet Jordan of Kannapolis, NC; his sister Madeline McCorkle of Concord, NC; and his caregiver Micheal Robinson. He is also survived by grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
