With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Collins Casper of Kannapolis, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025 at the age of 74. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Gloria leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Gloria may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlie Collins and Blanche Collins; and her brother Eric Collins. She is survived by: her husband Phillip Casper; her sons, Patrick Casper (Holly) and Jeff Goforth (Marleen); her sister Sheila Gryder; her grandson Paxton Casper; and her nephews, Matt Gryder and Clint Gryder.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Whitley's Funeral Home (1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
