She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Childers and Martha Barnette Childers; and her sisters, Betty Jo Hooper, Orene Jordan and Linda Yates.
She is survived by: her husband Wilton Theodore "Ted" Privette; her daughter Stephanie Michelle Privette Jones; and her sisters, Maxine Rushing, Joyce Storm and Debbie Lambert (Phil). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
