He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Drummond Potts; his children, Bobbie (Mike Biles), James III (Becky Potts) and Deann (Donald Miles); and his grandchildren, Richard Pope III, Leann Ketchie, Kayla Pope, James Potts IV, Alexis Miles, Autumn Miles, Brandon Miles and Bentley Miles. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
