He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Ann Brown and Harold Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Johnny Brown Rodgers of Charlotte, Lavone Rogers of Charlotte and Elizabeth Foster of Kannapolis; his siblings, Alton Johnson of Wingate, Terros Brown of Monroe and Diana Johnson of Rochester; and his cousin Curtis Irvin of Kannapolis. He is also survived by two grandchildren and one grandchild.
