She was predeceased by: her parents, Nolan Hardin Safrit and Frances "Christine" Farrell Safrit; her husbands, Richard Hardy and Clayton Carl Palmer Sr.; and her brothers, David Eugene Safrit, William Hardin Safrit and James Calvin Safrit.
She is survived by: her children, Clayton Carl Palmer Jr. of Salisbury, NC, Jeffery Scott Plamer (April) of Rockwell, NC, Angela Broussard (Edward) of Denham Springs and Tonya McMillin (Ben) of Sulphur, Louisiana; and her siblings, Mary Huneycutt, Doris Smith and Tim Safrit. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
