He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lawrence, and Delma Lawrence, Jr.; and his wife Inez Lawrence. He is survived by: his children, Jonette Hargis and Lafayette Harris; and his siblings, Laverne Holmes (Leroy), John Lawrence Jr. (Cathy), Connie Jarvis (John) and Holley Artis (Garfield). He is also survived by four aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
