He was predeceased by : his parents, Vaughn Thomas Joines and Celia Broadway Joines. He is survived by : his wife Kathy Hoffman Joines; his daughters, Crystal Joines and Brandi Ferguson (Kenneth); his brother Ronald Joines (Debbi); his grandchildren, Dakota Joines, Riley Brown, Kayla Brown, Ivey Crisco, Kenneth Ferguson, III and Jamez Ferguson; his great grandchild Jamez Ferguson, Jr.; his nephew Brandon Joines; and his close friend Roxie.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Lady's Funeral Home (268 N Cannon Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lady's Funeral Home Chapel (268 N Cannon Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083).
